For Curiosity :

$25.00 - I can look at it​ and immediately know what it is and what the value might be. You can bring it to my home office, send as a photo in a text, or I can come to you with a modest travel fee.

$45.00 - I need to do a little more research - consult art auction data bases and research the artist, follow leads to other sites that would help determine value. This is roughly a half hour consultation at my home office. I can come to you as well for an additional travel fee.

For Insurance, Charitable Contribution, Estate Settlement

$250.00 - An Appraisal Report, written in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. USPAP was adopted by Congress in 1989, and contains standards for all types of appraisal services, including real estate, personal property, business.  For insurance purposes, you’re going to need to ask your insurance company what their cut-off is for individual art works. For the US Government if artwork is worth over $5000. you will need an official Appraisal Report.

$250.00 plus - Mass appraisals with more than one artist. I can determine this by a visit and give a quote.

Everything Else:

$90.00 - my general fee per hour for consultation, extended research or special projects.
